Royals and Ruins of Rajasthan: A Walk in Bundi

On a morning in July, we conducted a walk to explore the Fort of Bundi, lakes in the city and finally stopped for a chat with local artisans in the city marketplace. The fort claims to house the most beautiful miniature paintings of Rajasthan, and it definitely doesn't disappoint. However, lack of maintenance does make it difficult to appreciate the art.

From there, we moved to look at the lakes in the city. On a rainy day, sipping tea with participants around the lake was enjoyable. We ended the walk with listening to stories told by local artisans and chefs, which added a cherry on the cake!

Bonus Tip: Don't forget to visit Shekhawati Dhaba for authentic Rajasthani food. You won't forget to thank us after!
